NESS – Media & Entertainment Centre of Excellence

For the NESS Media & Entertainment Centre of Excellence in Iași, MAGNIUS produced a series of custom elements combining technical furniture, lighting, signage and interior branding. The interior concept and design were developed by Arhitectica, while MAGNIUS translated the designed elements into manufacturable components, adapting construction, materials and technical details for production and installation.

Custom media wall with RGB lighting and integrated NESS logo

The main feature of the space is a custom media wall designed around three large displays. The black dimensional frame includes a recessed upper cove with RGB LED lighting, allowing the colour of the ambient light to be changed by remote control.

The illuminated NESS logo is integrated into the upper part of the construction rather than applied as a separate afterthought. Structure, cladding, lighting, cable routes and equipment positions were therefore coordinated as part of the same fabricated assembly.

Media consoles with retractable TVs

For the demonstration area, MAGNIUS built custom media consoles with televisions concealed inside the furniture. Electric TV-lift mechanisms operated by remote control allow each screen to rise for demonstrations and retract into the cabinet when it is not in use.

The furniture was detailed so the lift mechanism, television and cabling could be integrated into a clean, compact volume. Additional custom display consoles with rectangular metal frames were also produced for presenting devices and demonstration scenarios.

Custom circular suspended luminaires

The project also included the production of circular suspended light fixtures in several diameters, positioned throughout the room according to the interior concept. Their simple geometry and diffuse light support the black-and-white visual language of the space while functioning as purpose-made elements within the overall fit-out.

Frosted-glass graphics and wall branding

MAGNIUS decorated the glazed partitions with frosted-effect vinyl cut into a custom graphic pattern. The treatment maintains partial transparency while creating privacy and carrying the visual identity across the glass surfaces. The NESS logo and the Media & Entertainment Centre of Excellence identification were incorporated into the same graphic system.

The project also included wall graphics, extending the branding from the fabricated objects to existing architectural surfaces.

Multi-technology execution for a fit-out project

This project is representative of the work in which MAGNIUS delivers more than one standard product. Technical furniture, metal components, electric mechanisms, LED lighting, signage, decorative films and installation were coordinated as parts of one interior implementation, following the architectural concept while resolving the practical requirements of fabrication and use.
