Printed mesh banners for façades, scaffolding and exposed large-format installations

Examples of Mesh
A selection of MAGNIUS projects and photographs relevant to this solution.
Mesh is a perforated flexible material that allows part of the air to pass through the graphic. This makes it a common choice for larger exposed applications where a solid banner would create greater wind resistance.
Designed to be read from distance
Mesh graphics are usually viewed from further away, so typography, contrast and image scale need to be prepared for the final dimensions. Very large files are planned as panels before printing.
Finishing and fixing points
Edges and attachment points are prepared according to the size and mounting system. Eyelets, reinforced hems and other details are selected around the project rather than added at a fixed standard spacing.
Structure still carries the load
Perforation reduces wind pressure but does not eliminate forces on the anchors and supporting structure. Large mesh installations require an appropriate support and mounting assessment.
Print and implementation
MAGNIUS can provide print and finishing and can coordinate installation or integration with a prepared façade system.
