Printing on compatible polyethylene films and flexible media

Polyethylene is widely used in flexible materials, but its naturally low surface energy means that not every PE film can accept every ink system directly. Compatibility must be established before production.

Surface treatment and media specification

We work with polyethylene materials that are treated, coated or documented by the manufacturer for the available print technology. For unfamiliar media, a print and adhesion test may be appropriate before full production.

Applications depend on the specific product

Printable PE media can be used in selected promotional, protective or temporary graphic applications. Thickness, stiffness, surface treatment and finishing options differ significantly between products.

Finishing and handling

Cutting, joining or mounting methods are selected according to the particular polyethylene substrate rather than assuming it behaves like PVC banner or standard self-adhesive vinyl.
