Backlit film printing for illuminated lightboxes and display systems

Backlit film is a translucent print medium used where the graphic is illuminated from behind. Colour density and material properties need to work with the light source and diffuser rather than being judged only as an unlit print.
Printing for transmitted light
Ink density, media, light-source output and the distance to the illuminated surface influence the final colour and contrast. Certain applications may require dedicated print settings or increased density.
Designed around the visible aperture
Artwork and cutting need to account for the actual visible opening and the way the film is held inside the lightbox or frame.
Integration into illuminated products
MAGNIUS can produce the graphic and integrate it into lightboxes or display systems manufactured or assembled as part of the same project.
Replacement graphics
Where the system is designed for campaign changes, new backlit graphics can be produced to the established dimensions without replacing the complete illuminated structure.
